Economic Benefits
The project’s economic benefits are immense. Beyond the income, property and VAT taxes that will be paid out by GLS, the jobs that will be created will reverberate throughout the communities.
During the initial wafer fab construction peak alone, 800-1,000 jobs will be needed to complete the project.
In the first three years of operation, 2,500 – 5,000 full-time employees will be hired. This includes engineers, technicians, operators, and administrative staff.
